It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. I have struggled with poverty and tight budgets, I have raised a  beautiful daughter as a single parent, I have attended college and worked as many as 3 jobs at a time while raising my daughter and attending college full time. I have volunteered to help others when I could. I have always valued honesty, integrity and hard work. I served in the United States Air Force as a weather specialist. I have worked in finance, marketing, hospitality, food service, corrections, health care, education, behavioral health and insurance. I have the experience to make difficult choices. I have a strong knowledge base in many areas and the intelligence to refer to experts in areas that I am not as familiar. I have lived in many different environments and realize that needs are different for citizens in the same area and I will fight for the needs of all in district 23.

I am an independent grass roots candidate. This means that I will be your voice, not a parties voice  and not a large donors voice.
