Frequently asked questions
How do we overcome financial barriers to education?
We can address cost effectiveness by funding schools based on need. We can also make the standardized testing uniform on a federal level, as the tests states use are the same across the country already. We can make standardized tests a measurement of needs to address those needs instead of making them a standard of whether a school can continue operating.
How do we deal with emotional health, bullying and behaviors created from social media?
Teaching used to occur in school, however students are facing others online 24 hours a day even on weekends. Educators have to help students cope and deal with the emotional health of students. Having highly qualified behavioral health experts in every school can assist with this. If students do not feel safe or valued, they will not achieve their full potential.
How can we overcome physical barriers to education?
Every school has different needs based on what students are dealing with. Some schools may need more multimedia to engage students or computers for every student. Other schools may need after school programs or tutoring. Some schools may need a childcare program for students who have children. There are ways to provide these, some with little or no cost, others with more financial expenses.
How do we make education more meaningful for students.
Communication and involvement between students, parents and educators can provide individualized school based changes. States do not know what each school needs and wants. It is those who are experiencing things that know what is needed in their school. Students with special needs may need adjusted curriculum or different resources.
